Air Quality Monitor

PM2.5, dust, ozone and gases from CAMS for any location.

Shows current and forecast air quality for any point from the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service: US and European AQI, PM2.5, PM10, dust, NO₂, SO₂, O₃, CO and aerosol optical depth, compared with the WHO 2021 guidelines, plus a regional AQI map.

Overview

Data come from the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS): global forecasts at about 40 km and European forecasts at about 10 km. Dust is reported separately because desert dust drives most bad-air days in Iraq and the Gulf.

Air Quality Index

The US AQI is the highest sub-index of PM2.5, PM10, O₃, NO₂, SO₂ and CO, each linearly interpolated between EPA breakpoints.
